Submitted for my first game jam, Ludum Dare #28, which had the theme "you only get one."
Made in just 3 days, Molten Progeny is a shooter in which the player sees how long they can fend off waves of enemies who are coming to destroy their egg. The game continues to ramp up difficulty until the egg finally breaks, at which point the game begins again. This was my first team project, and it was great to work with people who were just as excited and focussed as I was. Best of all, we finished on time! It really sold me on collaboration.
